ESI Software Expands!

ESI Software Acquires Polarsoft Limited Products

Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) June 30, 2004 -- May 2004 began a new venture for ESI Software. The owners of Polarsoft Limited, a software company based in Boulder, CO, decided to switch industries, thereby selling some of their products and services to ESI.

The acquisition was beneficial to both ESI Software and Polarsoft Limited. Polarsoft Limited has been a partner with BMC Software, who is also in partnership with ESI, since 1999. Both companies share expertise in infrastructure monitoring and database management solutions.

The newly acquired middleware management solutions will provide ESI with a broader area of expertise in the infrastructure management field.

ESI recently took over development projects from Polarsoft Limited. In July 2002, ESI Software acquired PolarSentinel, a family of Knowledge Modules that integrate with BMC Software's PATROL systems management product line. The Knowledge Modules transitioned were: PolarSentinelTM for Microsoft® Media Services, PolarSentinelTM for RealSystem® Server, PolarSentinelTM for FileNET, and PolarSentinelTM for Red Brick® Decision ServerTM.

In January 2004, ESI also acquired two more Polarsoft based products, DB2Connect for PATROL and DirectConnect.

Along with the new products, ESI also expanded their Sales and Development departments by adding three of Polarsoft Limiteds best, Zeb Davison- Development, Bruce Lehman- Sales, and Dan Goldsberry- Software Engineer.

This new expansion will increase the product offering for ESI Software, as well as, provide a real-time monitoring solution for Sybase for BMC Software.
