A martial arts thriller, Suspect #1,"... Obsession leaves a bloody trail from Las Vegas to Tokyo... is about brothers torn apart by dysfunctional family dynamics. One brother is accused of murdering his wife while on a visit to Las Vegas. Laura Tate, a Las Vegas Detective, goes to Tokyo to solve the murder, and finds herself in love with the number one suspect. Hiroyuki Watanabe, who starred in the classics, Reborn from Hell," series and Hiroaki Murakami, who starred in Iron Maze," with Bridget Fonda, are handsome popular actors in Japan who have starred in several films and will play the leading male roles.

Carrie Kroon, an avid film viewer, who recently relocated from Minnesota to the bay area, is another person who is counting on the release of LaFayettes films. Although Kroon and LaFayette have never met, Kroon believes American society is craving for films that show Asians dealing with real-life issues. After reviewing LaFayettes work-in-progress, Kroon is confident that a broad spectrum of people will be able to relate to the films. These films will help mainstream society understand that Asians are real people who deal with the same issues everyone else deals with," Kroon said.
