Buffalo-based marketing consultant Paul McAfee acquired full control of marketing and strategy consulting firm eXubrio, LLC (http://www.exubrio.com). McAfee will close the San Francisco office, focusing on the firm's growth in Western New York and Israel.
"Our consulting client growth in the past year has come mostly from the Western New York area," said Paul McAfee, principal of eXubrio, LLC. "By moving the company headquarters to the Buffalo area, we can concentrate better on building our client base here."
eXubrio's consulting services typically start with the Value Proposition concept developed in 1984 by Michael Lanning. eXubrio's clients learn how to apply Lanning's Value Proposition, Value Chain, and Value Delivery System concepts to their businesses. eXubrio also explains how these concepts fit within the firm's behavioral marketing model.
The primary goal of marketing for eXubrio is to increase sales. So the marketing model the firm uses and teaches involves moving clients' prospects through five key behavior steps to become customers: Awareness > Interest > Intent > Evaluation > Purchase. eXubrio's clients learn how to audit their marketing plans to improve effectiveness and reduce costs.
eXubrio's McAfee serves as pro bono Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Rochester Office of Technology Transfer. He also is a member of the steering committee of the Entrepreneurial Services Network, part of the Erie County Industrial Development Agency (ECIDA), in Buffalo, New York. "Working pro bono with the University of Rochester and the ECIDA let me give something back to the area, as well as participate in helping to grow new technology businesses in Western New York," McAfee said. "I set aside roughly 20% of my time for pro bono support to local businesses, and service organizations such as Rotary."
McAfee recently formed a strategic alliance with Rochester-based marketing communications firm Saphar & Associates to develop fixed price marketing assessment tools for area businesses.
About eXubrio, LLC
