mainstay, Cynix, has been dealt quite a bizarre hand in the short

NYCs most popular bands gone wrong, Cynix has a story that would
rival any Oscar-winning screenplay. Fronted by petite powerhouse
Karen Xerri (23), the threesome has released the anticipated debut album, Dirty Laundry, under their own label, Playground Productions (NY/LA) and is set in full gear to promote with the West Coast Dirty Laundry Tour. The tour, which includes stops in most major cities in California will include a special performance with 80s legend, Bow Wow Wow in San Francisco featuring Adrian Young of No Doubt and for the LA crowd, a special performance and CD Release Party at LA's famed Viper Room on August 8.

drawn on jazz and bossa-nova. The result is a sexy pumping groove
