MTI Brokerage Solution Adds More Lane and Rating Options
The latest Brokerage solution for MTI Horizon Trucking software now offers more features for lane analysis and rating for carriers who broker shipments.
(PRWEB) July 5, 2004 -- MTI's enhanced Brokerage Module for the popular Horizon Fleet Management trucking software continues to make waves. The latest version includes support for tracking favorite lanes for existing carriers and adding new carriers through Available Lanes. Carriers can be paid using automated rates that include multiple pay charges such as fuel surcharges or loading fees. A new add-on for LTL operations integrates manifest building based on carrier's preferred lanes.
With Favorite Lanes, companies can identify the preferred lanes for each carrier and find carriers for existing shipments based on their desired lanes. The Brokerage module also lets companies add requests for loads from carriers for specific regions and equipments. "The new brokerage features allow a company to access all facets of the brokerage business without having to rely on hand-written notes," explained Andrew MacNeill, Technical Marketing Manager of MTI. "With the new pay options, companies can automate carrier pay by percentage or flat charges."
Todd Goforth, Brokerage Manager of Cox Transportation has been working with the new version for several weeks. "The Brokerage features of Horizon ensure we get the right carrier for the right load every time," he explains. It saves us valuable time and ensures we can provide quality service to both our carriers and customers."
Existing users of the Horizon Brokerage module will receive the new update automatically. For a full demonstration, visit http://www.mtihorizon.com/show/broker. For more information, contact Melody Latimer at www.mtihorizon.com or 336-659-0815 x 202.
