Lightning Bolt DSL, launches new "dry" / "naked" ADSL service Nationwide

ADSL service no longer requires a land line voice service!

(PRWEB) July 2, 2004 -- Lightning Bolt is introducing dedicated loop ADSL. Known in the industry as "dry loop" or "naked" DSL, Lightning Bolt's dedicated loop ADSL services are designed to help us expand our customer base by meeting the needs of end users who may not fit into the standard, line-shared ADSL market.

Dedicated loop ADSL is a suite of services that will be rolled out by Lightning Bolt in several different phases. During the first phase, we will make a dedicated loop 1.5/384 ADSL service available for ordering starting July 1st 2004. Additional dedicated loop SOHO services are expected to be launched in the July and August timeframe.

This targets end users who want to:
- Eliminate their local phone line(s) in favor of wireless phone service
- Add voice capabilities on top of their broadband service without maintaining or adding a local phone line
- Avoid certain broadband installation issues associated with line-shared ADSL services

Here is some more info on this new product.
- Residential ONLY, this can NOT be install at a commercial location
- This does require a special Pro-install (The circuit has to be brought from the De-Marc to a Jack in your house)
- NO SLA of any kind, just like all other ADSL options
