evalu8.org celebrates its second anniversary with a 250,000 PV breakthrough

The Little Site That Could tops another mountain peak

Vancouver, BC; Seattle WA (PRWEB) July 3, 2004 -- Seems like only yesterday that we were counting our first-day visitors: A grand total of. . . nineteen!

Yet today, on the occasion of the first day of our third year in operation, we are delighted to announce that we have just broken through the barrier to our new level -- 250,000 page views per month!

Our growth has continued at a steady 10 per cent increase every month since we first launched," said evalu8.orgs Managing Director, Anne Garber. At this rate, well be up to 500,000 page-views by next January, and we should top one million by August, 2005."

New content has dramatically influenced this unabated growth, with emphasis on food, regional restaurants, movies, consumer product reviews and advocacy, destination travel, hotels and everything else you might need for a happy BC-and-Pacific-Northwest lifestyle. New affiliates, content providers and strategic allies have helped enormously, too, and we would be remiss if we did not extend our gratitude to Tourism BC, Madelyn Miller at The TravelLady.com, Festivals Master-mind Kevin Dale McKeown, our friends at Richmond Public Relations in Seattle, the gang at Spectacular Ink (for Washington State, especially), Allan MacDougall and the genies at Raincoast Books, the good folks at Box Office Prophets, Amazon and eBay, CarPages.ca and Zip.ca, The Globe and Mail, CBC radio, the Community Groups that supply so much of our local and regional information updates, and of course, our ad agency, 24/7, and our wonderful sponsors and advertisers, without whom we would never be able to offer our readers the great scope and timely information upon which we pride ourselves.

We celebrate our anniversary on Canadas birthday; isnt that perfect?

So thank you one and all for your loyalty and enthusiasm. Please tell a friend about evalu8.org and drop us a note (to feedback@evalu8.org) if you have ideas, conundrums, suggestions, consumer queries -- or even if you just want to say hi.

Evalu8.org is updated with fresh content daily, so there's always something new to discover!

The format of evalu8.org makes navigation easy, and the search box works like a charm. Feedback and reader input is always welcome. Says Roland Tanglao of VanEats: "Evalu8.org covers a lot of ground, including a large number of [foodie] topics. Here are some selected food-related portions of the site: recipes, Vancouver restaurant reviews (such as Anne's review of Lumière) and...columns by excellent food writers such as Stephanie Yuen and Nathan Fong. I love the site and will be checking it regularly."
