Chester Amedia has been appointed as Chief Medical Officer of Renaissance Health Care, Inc. and Ms. Jan Nielsen as Chief Operating Officer.

Dr. Amedia is a Fellow with the American College of Physicians, and has been instrumental in bringing awareness of kidney disease to the forefront of disease management. Dr. Amedia is a board-certified nephrologist, has treated the full spectrum of ESRD and CKD patients, and is a Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, Rootstown, OH. Dr. Amedia is active with regional and national professional organizations including ESRD Network 9 & 10 and the Renal Physicians Association.
Ms. Jan Nielsen has over 20 years' experience in the health care arena. Ms. Nielsen earned her Masters degree in Public Administration from the College of Notre Dame as well as her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Ms. Nielsen is the former Senior Vice President, Care Management Solutions and former Vice President, Health Service Coordination, RMS Disease Management, Inc. Ms. Nielsen will be responsible for the on-going management of Renaissances care management program.
