Where do you go when the people you love, are tired of your broken promises?

What do, people do, if they dont drink? I asked myself those questions daily.

I was in my own private hell! Sick and tired, of being sick and tired.

Why, when you tell people you have Cancer, they cry for you, and are supportive, but when they find out, you have the disease of Alcoholism, the results are different?

These were the questions that went through my head daily. I didnt want to be different, but I was. I knew from my first drink, at 12 years old. I needed to find a way to get another one.

Those questions dont, fester in my mind anymore. The obsession to drink has been lifted. I am 36 years old, and celebrated 9 years sober, in January. What a beautiful gift sobriety is.

I started sweetsobriety.com.It's a free site for people who are curious about sobriety. The site has a video of my story, and hopefully soon others, there are written stories, a forum, sobriety links, a chat room, and someday, sobriety gifts, to make the site self supporting. Life has never been better.
