(PRWEB) July 4, 2004 -- Moves Magazine, the first magazine exclusively and solely dedicated to the fast-paced and elusive lifestyles of professional athletes, will release its second issue on Sunday, July 11th at an invitation only cocktail party.

The party, expected to attract current and former professional athletes such as Venus Williams, Peter Warrick, Bobby Taylor, Darrell Jackson, Shawn King, Zab Judah, Marcus Fizer, John Franco, Roberto Luongo, Charles Oakley, sports executives from all four major sports leagues, and various other celebrities and special guests, will be held on Miami's South Beach at Casa Casurina (formerly known as the Versace Mansion).

Moves successfully launched its first issue in the first quarter of 2004 to rave reviews. Sports executives and officials from the National Football League (NFL), National Basketball Association (NBA), Major League Baseball (MLB), and the National Hockey League (NHL) all agreed that Moves Magazine is the first magazine of its kind that delves into the ever-changing and evolving world of today's professional athletes.

The magazine, which is distributed to professional athletes, agents, sports executives, and medical practioners in the sports medicine industry, is comprised of four individuals who possess a rather extensive knowledge of the various areas of sports.

The Moves team includes Scott Andrew Helfand, a former sports agent, former professional baseball player Scott Pagano, former professional tennis player Xavier Cedeno, and Armando Salguero, a long-time national correspondent for ESPN, who has also worked for the Miami Herald and the Miami News.
