Born in Suffolk, Virginia, Author, Director, Producer, Playwriter, songwriter, Fashion Show Producer, Sekenia Williams has become one of the most veratile figures in the entertainment industry; with a powerful new book out "Soul Exposed", as well as working as an arranger, producer, talent scout, agent and Model Agency Owner. He first performed as part of a family singing group, Sha Sha and the Tots, he concentrated on writing directing, producing, songwriting and production.
His distinctive style of writing landed him a publishing deal with Author house, and his new autobigraphy "Soul Exposed" has brought him even wider exposure, offers from movie companies, record companies and other publishers.
Fiercely independent and ambitious, he signed to Author House Publishing as an Author/ Editor with the understanding that they would share all royalties 50/50 and he would remain in control over his entire project.
In 1999, he opened Beautiful People Model Talent and Casting Ltd. and launched the modeling careers of many young models including intenational Super-model Sehoya.
His solo recording career launched with the album "My Name is Sekenia" and attendant single "Without You." Which he debuted on the Jenny Jones show.
The well-connected Entertainer/Entreprneur was provided with immediate exposure for the Music video that he directed for DJ Kool and Magoo (a long time collaborator of Timberland) entitled "Back-Up Out My Way" received excellent reviews.
He was reluctant to commit himself fully to a career as a performer. He didn't want to get caught up in being an artist and always on the go, he felt that once you do that, it `s hard to get into the studio or at the computer to create.
Despite his growing reputation and success, Williams remaines based in his hometown of Suffolk Virginia and lives part-time in LA.
In September 2001 he collaborated with Nicole Wray; Missy Elliott's protege, as a consultant, make-up artist, and stylist for her worls tour. Although Williams found time in his busy schedule to produce his excellent stageplay

He produced photos and clips for Missy Elliott that appeared on MTV's Bio Rhythm. In 2001 he cast and CO-starred in For Real" alongside Tim Reid.
2002 Sekenia CO-Directed the Music Video Back-up Out My Way" Starring Magoo and DJ Kool, he also supplied talent and acted as consultant to stylist and Make-up Artist.

Project Impact, and Youth Matters; as well as he donates time to many area schools for career day.
In 2002 Sekenia founded his very own non-profit charity organization The Beautiful People Players, an organization that encourages young performers to express their interest in the wonderful realm of theater and give them an opportunity to feature their work along side that of their peers across the country.
