Platinum Real Estate, Jenny Mann Realty and Joey Lee announce the kick off of new web site.

July 1 2004 the West Georgia based real estate agent Joey Lee announce that a very unique virtual office web site was up and running.

(PRWEB) July 5, 2004 -- Platinum Real Estate Solution Inc., Jenny Mann Realty Inc. and Joey Lee offer a new service to real estate shoppers in the West Georgia area at their new web site www.westgamls.com. Real estate shoppers have been demanding realtors provide the service that www.westgamls.com offers since the inception of the internet. Now buyers as well as sellers can access the same information that the local real estate agents and brokers have been accessing for years. Simply go to www.westgamls.com create a login name and a password will be emailed to you. It is simple and free. This will grant access to all properties in the entire Multi Listing Service (all properties) with details such as street number and names, inside photos, virtual tours, contact information and more.

The service that is offered at www.westgamls.com is referred to as a Virtual Office Web Site". Although this technology has been around for several years the National Association of Realtors as well as the West Metro Board of Realtors has just recently composed rules regulating this concept. The rules as far as the consumer is concerned are simple. A person has to establish a broker/client relationship. This is as easy as requesting a password. The thought is that a client going to a realtors web sit is the same as a client walking in to the realtors office. This client should be able to obtain equal information from the realtor. Up until now that was not the case. The online client was limited to the basic information on a listing similar to what he or she would see on the national real estate web sites. Now the client can access any item that the realtor could pull from the full MLS as if they were sitting beside them at their office computer.

Many sellers at first were reluctant to give the go ahead on letting item such as their street name and house number out to just anyone that their realtor had not personally met. Many safeties have been put in place to help deal with these concerns. The foremost item is that every IP address is logged each time a visitor comes to the site. Although it would take a lot of resources to track a person down with only an IP address it is very possible. Looking at this from a larger point most realtors do not know their buyers on a personal level. It is just not possible to only do business with people that are friend and family and be as competitive as todays real estate market demads.
