Free software to convert MS-Project files (.MPP format) to Project Planner reader (PPR) format is released

Project2 Planner is a free software which converts the project plans in the MS-Project format (MPP) to the PPR format which can be viewed through Project Planner reader is released.

(PRWEB) July 8, 2004 -- A Free tool, Project 2 Planner , which converts project plans created by MS-Project (MPP files) to Smartworks Project planner (PPR) format has been released.

Now your customers can view the progress of their project in terms of gantt charts , Network diagrams and other graphical charts even if they do not have MS-Project installed in their system. However the user cannot modify the project plan or print it.

Users can use the freeware tool Smartworks Project Planner reader which can be downloaded from http://dl.filekicker.com/send/file/139491-0NW8/ppreader10.exe to view the converted project plans.

The current version of the project planner reader runs on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/XP/2000/2003. But future versions would run on more operating systems including Mac-OS, Windows-CE and Linux.
