Womens Internet Association Hosts Workshop Teaching Women how to Create an Internet-based Business

The Womens Internet Association is hosting the Womens Web Workshop 2004, the only training event teaching women how to start a business on the Internet. Ten percent of net proceeds will be donated to Oprahs Angel Network. Held September 10-12, 2004 in Denver, Colorado, attendees will learn from a select few of some of the most successful women on the Internet who will teach how to build and grow an Internet business from scratch. This highly-interactive training event should be attended by women who: - want to learn a step-by-step, A to Z approach to starting a business - need a no-jargon explanation of Internet business concepts - learn best in a nurturing environment - want to meet other dynamic, intelligent women

Denver, CO (PRWEB) July 10, 2004 -- After building a successful Internet business for two years, I attended my first Internet Marketing seminar in January 2003. I noticed that a full 1/3 of the attendees were women, but all of the speakers were men," says Barbara Drazga, President of the Womens Internet Association. While all of the speakers had wonderful content, I still felt that I wanted to hear from a woman who had built a successful Internet business."

I produced the Women's Web Workshop to meet the unique learning and communication styles of women," says Drazga, without the jargon and hype one finds at many other industry events." Drazga has produced dozens of training events, and has a background in marketing, communication, and creative problem solving.

The training team features ten dynamic women who have built successful web-based businesses. The trainers will share their knowledge through interactive training sessions, and answer questions over lunches and dinners. Our interactive training techniques will engage all of the senses so that attendees retain more information, make more personal connections, and have lots of "AHA!" moments!" adds Drazga. And one lucky participant will win a brand new laptop with which to start their new business when they leave!"

This three-day event will be held September 10-12, 2004 in Denver, Colorado at the Holiday Inn DIA on I-70 and Chambers Rd. Early bird registration is just $497 through June 31, and attendees may bring a guest for free.

The Womens Internet Association launched in May 2004 to provide a place for women doing business on the Internet to gather and share knowledge. Web sites are www.WomensInternetAssociation.org and www.WomensWebWorkshop.com
