GTI Coatings expanding precision plating capabilities with high-tech, military/semi-conductor, precision gold plating.

Austin, TX (PRWEB) July 10, 2004 -- GTI Coatings has responded to customer demands in Austin. Currently, GTI's sister company in Tempe, Arizona, (GoldTech Industries) has been performing precision gold plating requirements for over 15 years.

The demand in Austin did not require setting up a plating line just for gold. Currently, GTI is working with several customers plating hi-phos electroless nickel, and copper. However, with the current electronic turn-around, having the gold plating capabilities in the Austin facility allows the company to respond more expeditiously than having to ship work out of Austin. At the present time, management is reviewing other chemistry requirements that may be brought in later this year.
