The African American Book Club Summit (AABCS) Celebrates fifth Anniversary in New Orleans, LA onboard the Carnival Cruise Ship CONQUEST. Featured authors include: New York Times Best-selling author Eric Jerome Dickey; Travis Hunter; Nina Foxx; Francis Ray; Victoria Christopher Murray; Brandon Massey; Parry "Ebony Satin" Brown; T.J.Butler; and Victor McGlothin.

(PRWEB) July 11, 2004 -- In October of this year, the Annual African American Book Club Summit will celebrate their 5th anniversary onboard the beautiful Carnival Cruise Ship "Conquest." The ship will depart from New Orleans, LA for the exotic ports of Montego Bay, Jamaica; Georgetown, Grand Cayman; and Cozumel Mexico. This years event promises to be the best one yet, with special surprises in store for the participating authors, readers, and book clubs.

The AABCS is an excellent opportunity for book clubs and avid readers to gather, discuss books, exchange ideas, develop strategies, and meet some of the country's finest authors. Readers get the opportunity to meet and greet their favorite authors as well as meet new up and coming authors during workshops, panel discussions and private parties. Aspiring writers will also have an opportunity to discuss and obtain information on self-publishing, marketing and writing fiction.
