SOE -- 2004 Sampler CD -- Sponsorship Proposal

Introduction:
State Of Emergency (www.stateofemergency.net) is an ever evolving online music and lifestyle magazine that not only covers the major alternative recording artists of the here and now but also possesses a team of staff whom have come together under the ethic of helping developing musicians and exciting new homegrown and international bands.

Since being founded in 2002 it has grown in leaps and bounds pioneering a 'Celebrity Columnist scheme not to mention maintaining a high standard in interview, reviews, news and promotions for all types of products.

CD Information:
SOEs (State Of Emergency) latest project is to create a promotional sampler CD compilation of THE best artists (and their respective songs) that the writers have thus far encountered in their time with the website. The CD will be a non-profit promotional tool -- that will also be of a high standard with color artwork, information booklet and jewel case.

Plans indicate the CD will be of around 16 tracks in length and feature a diverse selection of artists and styles that will surely please many different listeners. Yet; while there are many musical differences between the artists one thing remains constant -- the quality of the music and the talent.

We plan to produce a minimum of 2000 units/CDs and then have them distributed at a street level to the real music fans. Bypassing the press and the written word for once and delivering hot new music straight to the ears of the very people who make artists a success -- the music fans.

What Our Sponsor Will Benefit From:
The sponsor or sponsors of the CD will benefit in many different ways.

•Firstly as a thank you for sponsoring the CD the company will receive 12 months free banner advertising on www.stateofemergency.net (which is worth 500 pounds which roughly = $850.00 alone) - that is just for starters.

•Secondly and most importantly they will have their logo, website address etc... featured front and center on the CDs front cover artwork and an alliance with SOE and its independent music ethic will be directly shown. This will benefit the company in a number of ways -- including getting their image and information into the hands of at least 2000 (we can go as far and as to as many as you wish!) individuals of a very select niche market yet will also show their continued support of the independent and flourishing music scene -- adding extra credibility to themselves and their services and products.

What We Need From The Sponsor:
There are two options for sponsorship. Firstly there is sole sponsorship which will allow the sponsor the entire limelight and full marketing potential of this project. With large presence on the artwork and possible further options such as an additional inlay advertisement.

The second option is for a joint/split sponsorship where they cover only some of the required funding for the project. This will lead to a shared and slightly less dominant presence on the artwork -- and also will not open doors to further options such as advertisements and further promotional aids such as flyers being included with the CDs.

The General Costs Of The Options:

1.Option 1 = 500.00 Pounds Sterling -- for full dominant exposure and defining presence not to mention the obvious partnership and alliances that the project presents. Extras could include adverts etc... as mentioned above.
2.Option 2 = 250.00 Pounds Sterling -- For partial/shared sponsorship with a strong presence on the front artwork and further information in and on the booklet.

Conclusion -- Why You Should Be Involved?
You should be involved -- because this is THE best kind of promotion you could possible wish for. It bypasses everything, including corporate advertising and gets your message and logo directly into the hands of the very people you want it in most. Not only that but it shows a grass roots support of independent yet high quality music that will only add to your credibility and down to earth appeal to the consumers/public.
