Billie Redmond Named To Womens Advisory Council

Billie Redmond, President of Coldwell Banker Commercial TradeMark Properties, was named to the Triangle United Way Womens Leadership Initiative Advisory Council, which inspires, educates, and engages women in philanthropy, community service, advocacy, and mentoring in order to positively impact the lives of people in need.

Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) July 11, 2004 -- Billie Redmond, President of Coldwell Banker Commercial TradeMark Properties, was named to the Triangle United Way Womens Leadership Initiative Advisory Council, which inspires, educates, and engages women in philanthropy, community service, advocacy, and mentoring in order to positively impact the lives of people in need. As a member of the council, Redmond will review policies and plans of the Womens Leadership Initiative Steering Committee, as well as promote and support activities of the organization.

The Triangle United Way Womens Leadership Initiative, established in 2001, is based on the United Way of Americas National Womens Initiative in Tocqueville and Leadership Giving. The organization engages and involves women of all ages and backgrounds in the work of United Way, the nations leading community solutions provider; as well as promoting philanthropy, mentorship, and advocacy among women.

Redmond was recently named a 2004 Business Leader Magazines Women Extraordinaire and to the lists of Top Women in Businesses in the Triangle, Top 25 Women Owned Businesses in North Carolina, The News & Observers Tar Heel of the Week, and to the Business Leader Impact List. She has served as a member of the Board of Communities in School of Wake County, Wake Education Partnership, Research Triangle Regional Partnership, Kids n Communities Foundation, Paragon Bank, WakeMed Hospitals and as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce.

Redmond, a native North Carolinian, is President of Coldwell Banker Commercial TradeMark Properties, a Raleigh based property management, leasing, and brokerage services company. In June 2003, TradeMark joined the national affiliation network of Coldwell Banker Commercial and is the largest woman owned affiliate in the network, representing a variety of asset and facility management clients.
