BitPass payments capability easily spans micropayments through subscriptions.
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) July 15, 2004 -- BitPass announces the availability of subscriptions for business services and entertainment merchants, rounding out its ability to deliver any digital good or service via its payment gateway. BitPass enables the sale of "by the sip" digital files and streams as well as daily, weekly, monthly, and annual subscriptions.
Subscription capability is available now at no additional charge via BitPass' self-service installation or through BitPass professional services. Vendors using BitPass Subscriptions pay nothing up front and no recurring maintenance fees or minimums.
"BitPass Subscriptions was the next logical step for QuietFM," said Nick Francis, founder of QuietFM (http://www.quietfm.com/firsttime.htm). "Once listeners tried BitPass micropayments to access my streams, they were willing to pay more for quantity & convenience, and many of them are now monthly subscribers. The subscriptions capability gives the customer another choice in how to use QuietFM. Subscriptions now provide more than half of my monthly revenue."
"FanBoy Radio uses the BitPass Subscriptions for monthly and annual subscriptions that allow VIP members to access the entire radio show archives," said Scott Hinze, founder of FanBoy Radio (http://www.fanboyradio.com/premium_episodes.php). "That, combined with BitPass' built in promotional tools, allows me to deliver added value to VIP members and special guests. It's very simple to sell subscription access to my regular a la carte BitPass customers."
"Subscription capability using BitPass has been available since September of last year," said Kurt Huang, Chief Product Officer at BitPass. "Were pleased that this capability has expanded beyond our original sports and online gaming implementations."
Instructions on using BitPass Subscriptions are available online in the Earner Support section of the BitPass website (https://www.bitpass.com/earn/support).
