A Real Battle of Bands: Announcing Solo Studio Song Contest

Solo Studio as a full service Audio Production Facility, is organizing a real battle of bands through the First Solo Studio Song Contest. All Egyptian bands playing blues, jazz, fusion, progressive, rock, metal or any similar style of music are welcomed to compete.

All Egyptian bands playing blues, jazz, fusion, progressive, rock, metal or any similar style of music are welcomed to compete.

All bands are to submit only one song, on a compact disc, in any suitable audio format. Adding information on the record such as recording date, location, sound setup, band members and formation, in word document format, will be appreciated.

Cover songs will be disqualified; art work submitted must be original and creative.

Songs must be delivered by hand to Solo Studio no later than the 15th of August.

The Verdict
Highly qualified executives from Solo and EMajor are to judge the competition, guest stars are expected.

The jury will announce the winning band on the 20th of August.

The criteria based on which the wining song earned that merit will be announced.

The Prize
Along with the first place certificate of talent, the winning band will get the chance to professionally record a demo song, for free at Solo Studio.
