ASGA Tour Executes Event Operations Agreement with HNS Sports Group

The ASGA Tour, Inc. announced today that it has executed a multi-year agreement to retain HNS Sports Group as operations manager for all 15 ASGA Tour events and United States Pro Golf League (USPGL) Section Championships this year, as well as all 25 events scheduled for the 2005 season.

Elizabeth City, NC (PRWEB) July 17, 2004 -- The ASGA Tour, Inc. announced today that it has executed a multi-year agreement to retain HNS Sports Group as operations manager for all 15 ASGA Tour events and United States Pro Golf League (USPGL) Section Championships this year, as well as all 25 events scheduled for the 2005 season.

The HNS Group, based out of Columbus, Ohio, will assist the ASGA Tour in the organization and supervision of all on-site event coordination, including site layouts, operations schedules, staff and volunteer training as well as set-up and tear-down of all equipment and corporate relations venues. HNS Group will also be responsible for the transportation of all equipment and materials from event to event, beginning with this seasons first ASGA Tour event in Covington, GA, at the end of August and culminating with the National Championship at Desert Pines in Las Vegas from February 10-13, 2005.

HNS Group has more than 25 years of event management experience with their primary focus revolving around professional golf tournament operations, hospitality management, sponsorship consultation and sales representation. The company, run by John Hines, Steve Nicklaus (son of golf legend Jack Nicklaus) and Dan Sullivan, has been involved with numerous golf events, including the Memorial Tournament, Wendys Championship for Children, Wendys three-tour challenge, the Solheim Cup and other LPGA and PGA tournaments.

The ASGA Tour is the country's premier intermediary professional golf tour conducting tour caliber events for former PGA Tour professionals preparing for the Champions Tour, non-exempt professionals on the Champions Tour, and celebrity challengers and professionals 18 years old and up preparing for the big tour. Beginning in 2004, the ASGA Tour will also conduct a Pro-Net competition for players of all skill levels 18 years of age and older who will compete for substantial prize money with their handicaps in the Tour event atmosphere of ASGA events.
