ObjectsSearch unveils Web search engine query API

(PRWEB) July 17, 2004 -- ObjectsSearch ON THURSDAY released ObjectsSearch Web APIs service, which enables developers to query Web documents accessible from the ObjectsSearch search engine via their own computer programs, according to the company.
The free beta service uses SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) and WSDL (Web Services Description Language) Web services standards so developers can program in their favorite environment, including Java, Perl, or Visual Studio. Net, according to ObjectsSearch.
Called ObjectsSearch Web APIs (application programming interfaces), the developer's kit provides documentation and sample code for using the service for Java.
ObjectsSearch is attempting to extend its reach into the application development market by allowing developers to experiment freely with its search technology.
Services are being offered in beta form so that the company can obtain feedback from developers.
