Three new hires bring greater customer support capabilities and sales power to fast-growing anti-spam provider.
(PRWEB) July 19, 2004 -- Roaring Penguin Software has added three new staff to support customers and new accounts. A new sales engineer and two inside sales staff will be instrumental in enhancing and delivering CanIt, the companys successful anti-spam software product line, to even more campuses, ISPs, web hosts and large organizations.
Derek Wueppelmann joins the company as Sales Engineer, working closely with sales staff, technical staff and customers to ensure CanIt and CanIt-PRO products are optimally deployed at every site. Derek holds a Bachelor of Computer Science and was most recently an Internet developer at Canada Newswire.
Kate Aldred and Jason Wilkes join Roaring Penguin as inside sales staff, bringing the sales team to six. Both are experienced account representatives in the high-technology industry.
Kate joins from Stonewood Group, where she performed executive search activities for high-technology executives. She earned a diploma in Business Admin/Marketing from Algonquin College. Jason was previously an account manger at Ibiska Telecom, an IT consulting and managed services firm in Ottawa, where he served both public- and private-sector clients.
Paul Wilson, Roaring Penguin Softwares Director of Sales, said, "The growth of our team is a direct representation of the popularity of CanIt solutions among a fast-growing population of campuses, school districts, ISPs and web hosts. The sales team is now even better positioned to serve CanIt's customer base and to ensure our success by expanding into new markets."
