Venturella Embarks on an Open Mic Tour?

Venturella embarks on an Open Mic Tour in support of his new album. Also, the first single from his upcoming album, "Too Long," got picked up by indie label Road Cat Records for a compilation disc.

(PRWEB) July 18, 2004 -- After what has seemed like an incredibly long hiatus filled with re-location, recording, and publicity Nick Venturellas work is beginning to pay off.

On August 31, 2004 Nick Venturellas third full-length solo album, Linear Cycle of the Seasons," will be available on his own OatMeal Records label.

In promotion for the album Venturella is putting together an open mic" tour. The tour will consist of Venturella attending a different Madison-area open mic each night for one to two weeks to perform and promote music from his latest CD. Promotional singles from the album will be given away at the open mic performances. An official CD release party is in the works followed by a string of previously scheduled performances.

Other Venturella happenings include the song Too Long," from his new Linear..." album will appear on Road Cat Records Milwaukee, WI area compilation to be release sometime this fall.

Road Cat Records, which is home to groups such as Groovulous Glove and Sunspot, will highlight the Milwaukee music scenes veteran mainstays along with some talented up and comers. The compilation roster will include Nick Venturella, EXIT, Reilly, and several others.
