Sen. John Kerry Receives Weasel of the Week Award from Tech Group

The IT Professionals Association of America has awarded its Weasel of the Week Award to Sen. John Kerry over his flip-flopping stance on the politically sensitive topic of outsourcing.

(PRWEB) July 18, 2004 -- The IT Professionals Association of America, Inc (ITPAA), has announced the winner of its July 16, 2004 Weekly Weasel of the Week Award, handing it to presumed Democratic nominee for President, Sen. John Kerry (D-MA).

Announcing the award, Scott Kirwin, Founder of the professionals association begun in 2003 and representing 1,500 + professionals nationwide, cited reports in the Indian media as the basis for his organization's decision.

"Indians in Delhi do NOT vote for you. Americans in America do," Kirwin states, referring to comments made to the Indian press by New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson on Tuesday, July 13.

Prior Weasel Award winners include Thomas Renyi,CEO of the Bank of New York and Congressman David Dreier (R - CA).
