Brief Synopsis
Hundreds of years from now on a world very much like our own, the endless struggle between good and evil begins a new and exciting chapter. Inspired by the Judeo-Christian religion, Fire of God is the story of Joseph KaRel the Dark Angel, a tragic hero pitted against his own brother in a war that will decide the fate of the entire galaxy. But Fire of God delves far deeper than any epic of its kind. It also carries with it a most profound message, as the seeds from an ancient religion take root again.
From the Author
When I was developing the main character, I tried to incorporate a piece of every hero I had as a child and even now, from spiritual warriors of the past, to the many pop-icons we have today. What came from that endeavor was a hero like no other. But the Dark Angel is still a very human character. In fact he's not perfect. He's flawed and also quite vulnerable. And it is those qualities, I believe, that make his character all the more appealing. The reader can relate to him.
Looking back at how all this came to be, one thing stands out more than anything else. I've always been fascinated by stories of the supernatural, especially those in The Holy Bible. Fire of God is a tribute to those tales of long ago and my faith as a whole.
A Must Buy
Fire of God will have wide-market appeal, and should satisfy readers of diverse backgrounds and interests. But for science fiction and fantasy fans, the story provides them with what they've been searching for most-escapism. It takes readers back then propels them forward, as a whole new world discovers the majesty of God again. Every chapter will have them begging for more.
