Hundreds to Rally Against the UN Monitoring US Elections on Wed July 21st at 6 pm

Rally at the United Nations to Preserve Our Electoral Independence! New York Congressional Candidate Anton Srdanovic will formally announce his candidacy for office at the rally.

(PRWEB) July 21, 2004 -- Anton Srdanovic will formally be announcing his candidacy for the 14th Congressional District in New York during a rally to protest the attempt by his opponent, Carolyn Maloney, to have the United Nations oversee our national election this Fall.

Location: Opposite the UN (Dag Hammarskjold Plaza) at 1st Avenue & 47th Street.

When: Wednesday, July 21st at 6 p.m.

Carolyn Maloney, along with 12 other congressional democrats (4 of them in NY), invited Secretary- General Kofi Annan to send observers to Florida in this year's election. Congressional candidate Anton Srdanovic believes that our representative in Congress should be expected to preserve the sovereignty of our nation. It is time to make a stand at this attempted imposition on our great Republic and join together to denounce this act.

"I believe the basic rights of every American depend on the sovereignty of our nation," Srdanovic has said. "By inviting external nations to validate our elections, we are opening the door to having them validate any of our national priorities."
