TheDeepArchives Animation Art Gallery hosts release of rare original Animation Production Art from the opening Credits of the theatrical film, GREASE, which starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John

TheDeepArchives, Animation Art Gallery, hosts the release of Original Animation Art, which was used to film the opening of the blockbuster musical film, GREASE.

(PRWEB) July 21, 2004 -- Don't miss out on the many rare art finds coming out of TheDeepArchives durring the month of July, 2004. We are pleased to announce the release of original production animation cels, storyboards, and drawings which were used to film the opening title credits for the blockbuster musical motion picture, GREASE, which starred John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, & Stockard Channing.

TheDeepArchives will also be hosting the release of original animation art from the coming attractions trailer for the 1963 Billy Wilder motion picture IRMA LaDOUCE, which starred Shirely Maclaine, and the late Jack Lemmon. The trailer narrated by the incomparable, Paul Frees will be showing as part of the exhibit. Legendary Animator, JOHN WILSON, is responsible for creating both wonderfully animated sequences is also well known for his work on Academy Award winning cartoons, TOOT, WHISTLE, PLUNK, AND BOOM and PIGS IS PIGS.

Currently in NEW YORK CITY, TheDeepArchives is hosting an exhibit of Superhero related Animation in the Steven Speilberg Gallery at The Museum of Television and Radio, which is located on 52nd St. For your viewing there is a mix of animation production cels and drawing from Hanna-Barbera's Challenge of The SuperFriends, as well as superhero art from Warner Brothers, Filmation Studios, and television commercials for Underoos and HoneyCombs Cereal.
Also of interest this month, TheDeepArchives is showings a selection of Original Animation Art from the Animated Cartoons based on the beloved Children's books, LYLE,LYLE CROCODILE, IRA SLEEPS OVER, MIKE MULLIGAN and HIS STEAMHOVEL, and THE POKY PUPPY'S FIRST CHRISMTAS.
