Dr. Daniel J. Mount, CHA, Joins the UniFocus Research Advisory Board

UniFocus today announced that Dr. Daniel J. Mount, an associate professor in the Penn State School of Hospitality Management, has been named to its Research Advisory Board (RAB). The purpose of the UniFocus RAB is to ensure continued development of advancements in its research methodologies, design, applications, and analysis, as well as its actionable reporting capabilities.

UniFocus today announced that Dr. Daniel J. Mount, an associate professor in the Penn State School of Hospitality Management, has been named to its Research Advisory Board (RAB). The purpose of the UniFocus RAB is to ensure continued development of advancements in its research methodologies, design, applications, and analysis, as well as its actionable reporting capabilities.

Dr. Mount brings to this board over twelve years of hospitality industry experience. He is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) with a D.B.A. in International Business from United States International University, where he was named the Outstanding Doctoral Student in the College of Business. He has an M.B.A. from Michigan State University with a specialization in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management. His undergraduate degree is in Finance from Minnesota State-Mankato. Dr. Mount currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Advanced Hotel Operations, International Hotel Operations and Service Management at Penn State.

Dr. Mount’s major areas of research include service quality, employee satisfaction, and the development of new methods to apply survey data. He has published nineteen articles in leading research journals such as The Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research, the Journal of Quality Assurance in Hospitality and The Cornell Hotel and Restaurant Quarterly.
