Women Turn Midlife Crisis into a Crowning Achievement

New York City, NY (PRWEB) July 24, 2004 -- Mama Donna Henes, urban shaman from New York City and contemporary ceremonialist, will be heading upstate to teach Queen of My Self: Women Stepping Into Sovereignty in Mid Life." At the Wise Woman Center, already known for and blessed with empowered women travelling around the globe to gather and celebrate, she promises to make her appearance again this summer.

As a participant you will sit in a ceremonial counsel circle in the company of other would-be-queens. Together, you will reflect upon and realize the wealth of your experience, your resources, and your best intentions. Buoyed by encouragement and spirited support, you all will summon up, name, and claim your strengths and forgive yourselves your weaknesses.

You will be assured to stoke the fires of your fierce pride, and empower your selves and each other. You will drum up the passion to fuel your power, and chant the patient persistence to maintain it. The day will culminate in a Crowning Ceremony wherein you all will appoint and anoint yourselves with your own authority.

Queen of My Self" will be held at the Wise Woman Center on Sunday, September 12, 2004, from 10am-5pm. The sliding scale fee of $50-$75 includes a delicious vegetarian lunch.
