(PRWEB) July 25, 2004 -- The alternative medicine and healthcare community is all a buzz about Miracle Solutions 'Body Rejuvenator and its green tea and cinnamon ingredients. Doctors Richard M. Goldfarb, M.D.;FACS and David J. Miller, D.O.; FAAP, of the Bucks County Clinical Research (BCCR) Center in Morrisville, PA., has put the Body Rejuvenator under a battery of test, and has done extensive research to see if the product lives up to its claims. The results were astounding to say the least.

In the BCCR case studies, most noticeable was a 50 year old Caucasian male with a history of smoking 1 pack of cigarettes per day for 34 years; and weighing 285 pounds at about 64". His body mass (BMI) is calculated at 35. Overweight BMI is defined at 25 or more. A BMI of 30-39 is considered obesity and a BMI of 40 or more is severely obese. The BMI is a good indication for individuals that exercise occasionally and are not on a regimented muscle bulking program.

The patient had blood sugars ranging from 220-245 both fasting and postprandial. He was proscribed an oral hypoglycemic for type II diabetes control. Prior to initiating this prescription medication, he was placed on 1 ounce of the Body Rejuvenator in the AM. He was instructed not to change his dietary habits or physical activities. The study lasted for 28 days.

As a result of the test, the patients blood sugar improved from 220-240 range to the 100-130 range. Overall this is a 48-51% improvement in the blood sugar level. A published report in Diabetes Care 2003:26(12):3215-8 by Khan A Safdar MD showed a 40 day study where 60 Type II diabetic patients (30 men, 30 women) with an average age of 52 was conducted . After being divided into 6 random groups, three groups received cinnamon and the other three group received placebo.

After the 40 day study, all 3 cinnamon dosage groups showed improvement of the mean fasting serum glucose by 18-29%, Triglycerides 23-30%, LDL cholesterol 7-27% and total cholesterol 12-26%. The placebo group did not achieve any significant benefits. The study has concluded that inclusion of cinnamon in the diet of Type II diabetics will reduce the blood glucose level and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Conclusively, the benefit of the green tea extract and cinnamon in the Body Rejuvenator justifies its daily use with Type II diabetics.
