Attorney Charles J. Casolaro Joins Forchelli, Curto as Associate

MINEOLA, NY (PRWEB) July 25, 2004 -- Attorney Charles J. Casolaro has joined the Mineola-based law firm, Forchelli, Curto, Schwartz, Mineo, Carlino & Cohn, LLP (FCSMC&C), as an Associate. A resident of Rockville Centre, NY, Casolaro is Deputy Village Attorney for the Incorporated Village of Rockville Centre, and former Deputy Village Attorney for Farmingdale.

Charles Casolaro is a welcome addition to FCSMC&C," stated FCSMC&C Managing Partner Jeffrey D. Forchelli. His considerable experience in municipal law and government will be an asset to the firm." In his new position, Casolaro will concentrate his practice in municipal law, zoning and land use development.

I find the field of municipal law particularly engaging because it is always evolving," says Casolaro. Municipal governments, in some areas, have complete sovereignty, while in others, the courts have diminished their authority."

Casolaro earned his J.D. at CUNY Law School in 1995, and his undergraduate degree from Adelphi University with a B.A., cum laude, in History/Political Science. Prior to his tenure as Deputy Village Attorney for the Incorporated Village of Rockville Centre, Casolaro served in that role for the Incorporated Village of Farmingdale. He also worked for one year as a legislative aide for United States Congresswoman Nita Lowey, representing the 18th Legislative District of New York.

A private pilot in his leisure time, Casolaro is a member of the Lawyer/Pilot Bar Association and the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations, and the Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy. He is also admitted to the New York State Bar, and the United States District Court Bars for the Southern and Eastern districts of New York.
FCSMC&C, with offices in Mineola and Melville, NY, has 40 lawyers specializing in the practice areas of land use and zoning, environmental law, tax certiorari, litigation, banking and financing, commercial and corporate transactions, loan closings and bulk loan sales, trusts and estates, tax and elder law, bankruptcy and insolvency, municipal law, and business and personal transactions.
