We vote for Kerry or Bush 'Delegates' Nov 2. If nominee passed away, the winning candidate 'Delegates' would vote for a new President Dec 13th. That new nominee would then be certified by Congress Jan 6,2005 and become President of US.
(PRWEB) July 26, 2004 - On November 2nd, we vote for delegates for John Kerry or George Bush. Supposing the winner passed away before December 13th, the day Delegates cast their vote for President.
The Delegates for the winning candidate could then cast their votes for a new President / Vice President. Those votes would then be certified Jan 6,2005 by Congress. The new person chosen by the winning “Delegates” would then be President of the US.
This is why a new PBS special about a “Delegate” is important.
“This ½ hour TV special may be one of the only films ever made about a delegate going to a National Political Convention and captures both an important piece of American history and feminist political history. The stream of conscious narration by by the “Delegate” herself and first hand account of the political process of the time, I am certain, will be of great appeal to public television audiences. Not only is this project both timely and unique, but it is also of good educational, social and cultural merit.”
“We anticipate each national broadcast capturing over 10 million viewers due to its ability to augment PBS program schedules especially around the election season.”
