Glatzer was invited to teach after Omega staff read her book Outwitting Writer's Block and Other Problems of the Pen.

The writers' workshop will blend writing exercises, lecture, and question and answer sessions, giving writers and aspiring writers a rare opportunity to interact with the formerly-agoraphobic author in a tranquil setting filled with lakes and woodlands.

It is designed to help writers and aspiring writers knock down psychological barriers that hinder the writing process, and break through writer's block to become more prolific. It is also meant to combat the solitary writers' lifestyle and allow writers to meet each other and share experiences.
