According to a recent study, beer imports represent 25% of the total beer volume in South Florida, compared to the national average of 8%. As the number three Hispanic market in the U.S., South Florida boasts a Hispanic population of almost 2 million, with an estimated buying power of over $26 billion that averages to $57,000 per household.
Cerveza Aguila is brewed by Bavaria S.A., the largest beverage company in Colombia and second largest brewer in South America. Its Aguila, Cristal, Pilsener and Atlas brands are the leaders in Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Panama, respectively.
