Caribou Coffee taken over by Pagans
A group of pagans meet at Caribou Coffee in Oak Park, Illinois the first Friday of every month. All are welcome regardless of faith. There is only one rule, keep an open mind.
(PRWEB) July 28, 2004 -- Project Mercury is an organization dedicated to fostering communication and interconnection between Pagan and Pagan friendly individuals and groups. Our mission is to promote religious freedom and to facilitate a positive image in the community.
Project Mercury was started in 1998 by a group of Pagans who saw a need in our community for a place where anyone with an open mind could gather and talk. An important concept of Project Mercury was that the organization would not focus on serving any specific religious group, but rather would embrace the many forms of all worship.
Since Project Mercury's inception, the organization has grown by leaps and bounds. As our membership grows, our network expands, giving us the ability to provide more service to our community.
The group currently meets at the Caribou Coffee in Oak Park which is right off of the corner of Harlem Avenue and Lake Avenue. It is the perfect location. Oak Park is a very friendly and open town. There are large parking lots and it is less then a block from the green line. Not to mention they have a lot of good drinks.
