Pro Tech introduces the anticipated release of CrimeTrax
Pro Tech releases it long anticipated CrimeTrax, crime scene correlation software. Pro Tech has also expanded it's national sales team.
Odessa, FL (PRWEB) July 29, 2004 -- Pro Tech Monitoring, Inc., longtime leader in the GPS tracking industry, today announced the release of its long anticipated CrimeTraxsm system. The significant expansion of its national business development team was also announced. CrimeTraxsm was developed by the ProTech engineering team, in partnership with law enforcement and correctional professionals, to provide the most powerful and complete public safety solution possible. CrimeTraxsm electronically links the movement of GPS tracked offenders with reported crime incidents and notifies police and corrections officials when an offender is detected at or near a crime scene. CrimeTraxsm is now ready for deployment nationally-including the nearly 150 current Pro Tech customers using over 3,500 GPS tracking sensors. CrimeTraxsm is also now offered to the many correctional, probation and police agencies around the nation that have been awaiting the arrival of a truly integrated system built on proven GPS technology and a single interface for all disciplines. The next level of electronic monitoring-crime scene correlation-that some have partially completed can now be done in a truly complete and integrated manner that offers two options to customers-centrally warehousing crime data for comparison with GPS tracking data or seamlessly integrating offender track data into existing local crime analysis systems. These options have not been available until CrimeTraxsm.
In a further demonstration of its market dominance, Pro Tech Monitoring also announced that the entire business development team of the General Dynamics VeriTracks program has joined Pro-Tech to rapidly expand CrimeTraxsm nationally:
· Gary Yates -- Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Formerly of General Dynamics, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Mr. Yates has extensive experience in criminal justice; program development and administration; legislative affairs; and business development.
· Amanda Wettstein -- Regional Sales Director. Formerly of General Dynamics, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and several media and public relation entities, Ms. Wettstein has experience in law enforcement; communications; legislative development; marketing; training; and program administration.
· Linda McHenry -- Regional Sales Director. Formerly of General Dynamics and the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs, Ms. McHenry has extensive experience in criminal justice policy development; electronic monitoring program administration; business development; and legislative affairs.
· Paul Drews -- Regional Sales Manager. Formerly of General Dynamics, the Maricopa County, Arizona Pre-Trial Agency; the Santa Clara, California Probation Department; and the Sacramento, California Police Department. Mr. Drews has extensive experience in community corrections; law enforcement; electronic monitoring program administration; and business development.
CrimeTraxsm will provide the total public safety solution needed by state and local criminal justice agencies nationally. Our heritage of providing GPS tracking, combined with the newly developed ability to link offender movements to crime incident data through several flexible options, promises to help our customers reduce recidivism and dramatically improve correction and law enforcement services. The convergence of the Pro Tech and former General Dynamics teams creates an unstoppable force that combines the experts in both GPS tracking and crime scene correlation," said Steve Chapin, CEO of PTM.
