Beverly Hills Film Studios Announces Multi-Picture Deal with Jenny McCarthy- Starting with Romantic Comedy Dirty Love"

Beverly Hills Film Studios (Forget About It, Medal of Honor) has today announced a multi-picture deal with Jenny McCarthy("Scary Movie 3," "Scream 3," star of the upcoming UPN series "Little Black Book" and NY Times best-selling author of "Belly Laughs"), starting with Dirty Love", an outrageous romantic comedy. The film, also written by McCarthy, will be helmed by director John Asher (Miramax's "Diamonds," "Thank Heaven," "Going to California") and will be produced by BHFS' BJ Davis and Kimberley Kates.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 29, 2004 -- Dirty Love" is a modern day Cinderella story which sees disaster prone McCarthy embark on an outrageous and hilarious journey in search of true love. In the film, Rebecca (McCarthy) is betrayed by her boyfriend and following a palm readers prophecy goes in search of her perfect partner. This riotous and entertaining dating spree gets her slapped by a fish at one point, and even lands her in jail!

Dirty Love is a film that will be familiar to all audiences who have ever played the dating game. Jenny is a wonderful comedic actress and the script is hilarious, we are sure this will make a very enjoyable film" said producers Kates and Davis in regard to the project.

Beverly Hills Film Studios will fund the film which will begin production on August 23rd, locations are currently being finalized. BHFS is in talks with a number of people regarding casting for the 2nd lead, John, who will star opposite McCarthy. The studio also just announced the signing of Casting Director Mary Vernieu ( Barbershop 1 and 2, Scooby Doo 1 and 2) and Production Designer Frank Bollinger (All the Queens Men, Independence Day) to the project.

This is the first in a multi-picture deal the production company has signed with McCarthy, next on the slate is Rollin", a teenage comedy set to start production February 2005.

BHFS is currently completing post-production on its debut feature Forget About It", a comedy adventure starring Burt Reynolds and Raquel Welch.
