Coastal Georgia Magazine Announces Short Story Competition

Short Story Competition for both published an aspiriring writers announced by Coastal Georgia Magazine to showcase the region and its talent.

ST MARYS, GA (PRWEB) July 30, 2004 --Coastal Georgia Magazine has a short story competition this fall. We are very excited about the opportunity to showcase Coastal Georgia this way," says editor Susanne Talentino. The rules for the contest are simple. It doesnt matter if you are an aspiring or published author, live in Coastal Georgia or just love the area, everyone is welcome to participate in the short story contest arranged by the magazine. There are two things to keep in mind;

o   Coastal Georgia must be the setting
o   Length must not exceed 1,500 words

Your entry form (available at www.CoastalGeorgiaMag.com) and story must be received no later than October 16, 2004. The winning story will be published in the winter issue of the magazine. More information will about the short story competition will be published in the fall issue of Coastal Georgia Magazine, or you can sign up on the website to receive the newsletter. The fall issue of Coastal Georgia magazine will hit the streets in the first week of September.

Coastal Georgia Magazine is a lifestyle/travel magazine for the coastal region of Georgia, distributed to Welcome and Visitor Centers in Georgia, hotels, businesses and campgrounds.

Susanne Talentino started working as the editor in March of this year. According to Talentino, the magazine has increased its distribution, base of advertisers and added new contributing writers to the staff. Coastal Georgia Magazine is published by Media Co. and managed by Talentino Media. Earlier this year Talentino Media launched a website for the magazine, and this week it will be possible to pay for subscriptions online.

Our magazine is growing in popularity. We are constantly working on offering more to both our readers and our advertisers. It is a very exciting time for Coastal Georgia Magazine," says Talentino.
