Pima Medical Institute Hires Director of Clinical Education for Respiratory Therapy

Chula Vista (PRWEB) July 31, 2004 -- Pima Medical Institute, 780 Bay Blvd. #101 in Chula Vista announced that Mark Devenere has been named Director of Clinical Education for Respiratory Therapy. Deveneres primary responsibility will be to coordinate clinical experiences in area hospitals for students in the new Respiratory Therapy program.
    
Prior to joining PMI, Devenere was a RT instructor for California College for Health Science and Grossmont College. In his more than 12 years of experience in the field, the new director also served as the Respiratory Therapy Department Manager at Adventist Health.

Graduates of the 88 credit-hour Respiratory Therapy program receive an Associate of Occupational Science degree. The campus also has programs for Dental Assistants, Medical Assistants, Medical Secretaries, Pharmacy Technicians, Radiographers and Veterinary Assistants. PMI offers career-training programs that range from 20-weeks to Associate of Occupation Science degrees that take approximately two years.
