Theater Lover's hold elections/celebrate 1st anniversary.

The Theater Lover's Community a non profit organization celebrated their 1st anniversary July 24th. It's new board was elected.

(PRWEB) July 31, 2004 -- The Theater Lover's Community, a non profit organization which supports local community theater in the Miami-Dade and Broward area held it's annual elections and celebrated a sucessful 1st year. The TLC board for 2004-2005 includes:Mr. Richard S. Webster of Miami-President and Miss. Lisa E. Walkowitz of Coral Springs- Vice President. Rounding out the board are: Mr.Jose Alcaraz, Mr. Ed Rahn,Mr.Eddie De La Portilla and Miss. Janay Harrison in the positions of treasuer,public relations,secretary and social director respectively.

The organization is made up of young professionals who love live theater,networking and community involement.

"Our motto is,It's a great time to join TLC.and many people are! It has been a wonderful 1st year." Webster stated.

Since it was created a year ago, The Theater Lover's Community has attended local theater,produced a small play to raise money for charity,networked and socialized in the Miami-Dade/Broward area.

The event was held at the Ed Rahn home where an eclectic group of people of many backgrounds and ages came together to celebrate and socialize.Mr. Rahn is a founding member of the organization and one of its most generous members.

"A number of great activities are already planned for this year. TLC has something for everyone. Believe me this is just the begining for TLC!" Webster said.
