Artifunk Inc. announced the launching of their onine art gallery at http://www.artifunk.com. President explains business model which offers larger payout to artists than traditional galleries.
(PRWEB) July 31, 2004 -- Artifunk Inc. announced today the launching of their online art gallery at http://www.artifunk.com. Artifunk President, Elena Baca, made the announcement. "After two years of development we are excited to provide a place for artists of different genres to connect with buyers", Baca said.
Baca explained that her company operates on much lower commissions than traditional galleries and she said, "That equates to savings for the consumer and more money to the artists."
Artwork purchased on their website is shipped directly to the consumer from the artists' studios, eliminating the need to carry inventory and allowing for the larger pay-outs to the artists. Artifunk currently offers paintings, sculptures, jewelry, furniture, fine art prints, wall art, and home accents with plans to expand these categories.
