HARVARD, MA (PRWEB) August 2, 2004 -- AirlineCareer.com, the leader in online flight attendant career information today announced that it is assisting 'Faking It Casting Director Shana Kemp in finding male flight attendants who have always wanted to be in a different profession but do not have any prior experience. Faking It is an award-winning reality TV show that tells the story of what happens when real people take up the challenge of converting themselves into someone entirely different.
Airing on Sunday nights at 9:00PM on The Learning Channel, the hero/heroine is plucked from their daily lives and given four weeks to master a skill well enough to fool a group of expert judges. During the month of intensive training, top practitioners, famous in their field, mentor the faker and try their best to help them succeed.
Some examples of professions a male flight attendant could be 'faking include: Personal Trainer to the Stars, Flair Bartender (like Tom Cruise in the movie 'Cocktail), Stand-up Comic, and Martial Artist.
In the final test at the end of the month, the faker must not only demonstrate the skill required but, if they are to convince the expert panel, they must also look, act, and talk the part as well. At the heart of the show is the journey the faker takes into an unknown world and the relationships that develop between the faker and their mentors.
Joseph Belotti, President of Airline Career.com and veteran airline pilot says "Our weekly ezine reaches an audience of over 30,000 aspiring and working flight attendants in 50 countries and we are sure that we will be able to contribute to this TV show's search for the right candidate.
