New Port Richey, FL (PRWEB) August 3, 2004 -- ABQAURP (American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians, Inc.) announces that Richard H. Carmona, MD, US Surgeon General plans to be the keynote speaker at the ABQAURP Patient Safety Conference from October 29 -- 30 in Tampa, FL.
His presentation titled, Quality Leadership: Government Initiatives to Enhance Patient Safety," will discuss the Federal governments role in promoting quality care. He will also review the numerous government programs planned and implemented that foster patient safety.
