Boy Scouts Respond to Allegations

In 2002, the Boy Scouts of America allegedly started a fire in the state of Utah. The Boy Scouts of America have not accepted responsibility for the fire, questioning how the fire actually began.

(PRWEB) August 1, 2004 -- In 2002, the Boy Scouts of America allegedly started a fire in the state of Utah. The Boy Scouts of America have not accepted responsibility for the fire, questioning how the fire actually began. In response to the allegations, Troop 347 of Fruit Heights, Utah, set up a lemonade stand to help out with possible costs. Because of the amount of possible estimated costs, the boys had inflated their prices to $250 per glass. Even more notable is that none of these boys had anything to do with the campout in 2002. These boys had been taught through the Boy Scouts of America how to be responsible citizens. Along with millions of other young boys, they are also learning how to responsibly enjoy the great outdoors. Author Richard J. Butler has captured the spirit of the Boy Scout program in his new action adventure titled Topoworld.

Topoworld takes you on a wild ride, led by John Oldham, who is a mentally unstable Scoutmaster, guiding his Boy Scouts through the Utah desert. He discovers an ancient topographical map, unlike anything he has ever seen. This map starts a series of events that involve Johns mental illness, his Boy Scouts and his family, and his attempts to protect them all from unknown assailants. Throughout this exciting story, the loyalty of the Boy Scouts and their ability to survive life-threatening circumstances is a credit to the Boy Scout program and all that it stands for.

Many who have been Boy Scouts can attest to the fact that they are better people for their scouting experiences. Whatever the outcome of this particular conflict, this organization helps develop thousands of boys every year without mishap. Author Richard Butler reminds us of the positive aspects of the Boy Scout program, while telling a thrilling story that will keep you guessing until the end. Topoworld is published by American Book Publishing and is available to order at stores near you. It is also available at a discount on the Publisher Direct Discount Bookstores website at http://www.pdbookstore.com.
