Changing Mail - Change E-mail Even After It Has Been Read

Changing Mail lets visitors send e-mail messages and change them after the message has been read. Senders can set it up so that each time the reader opens the e-mail it can say a different thing in sequence or randomly - or make the message change once a day. There are a variety of single message subscriptions such as an e-mail that tells you the current weather in your city each time you open it.

(PRWEB) August 3, 2004 -- Changing Mail is a site where visitors send e-mail and then can change what the e-mail says even after the reader has opened the message.

So you can make people think they are going crazy - but it can be quite useful. The site has a number of subscriptions which comprise just a single e-mail each. For instance, you can sign up for a Changing Mail message that shows the current weather every time you open the message in your e-mail client. Or you can subscribe to a Changing Mail message that tells you your daily horror-scope (things to avoid).

As well as subscriptions, visitors can create their own messages and manually change the message at any time. For instance, you can send one Changing Mail message to your family members and then update this message like a journal or log of what is new. Every time the family opens your e-mail the current update will be shown. Reports are available to show who has opened your messages, at what time and which version.

Aside from manually changing messages, visitors can use simple tags to make portions or all of their message change in a variety of ways: randomly, sequentially, looped and daily. This lets visitors publish content through standard e-mail. For instance, you can publish advice, news or statistics. You can publish stories that progress or games like charades, trivia or games of chance like dice and rock paper scissors.

Changing Mail was created by inventor Dan Zen, Canadian New Media Award winner for Programmer of the Year 2002. Dan Zen has made dozens of unique and peaceful games and gadgets available at http://www.danzen.com
