Whos Hiring Who: The San Francisco Bay Area Job Faire

Silicon Events announces the second annual San Francisco Bay Area Small Business Conference, and new this year, the Whos Hiring Who Job Faire. This poolside job faire begins with a Wine and Cheese Reception at 3 PM, and then the afternoon poolside session is devoted to the Job Faire, until 7 PM. Individuals can interview with exhibiting firms at the Job Faire, and attend free workshops at the Small Business Conference. Date of Event: September 15, 2004.

Individuals can interview with exhibiting firms at the Job Faire, and attend free workshops at the Small Business Conference.

This is the low-cost way for employers to find potential employees. The Small Business Conference has over 2,000 attendees, and the job faire could double that number of attendees. Employer booths are only $250 for this exciting employment faire.

Silicon Networks will host a dinner presentation for all attendees at 6 PM:

Join Sherrie Schmit from Expressware presentation on Content Management and Business Intelligence".

At 7:15 PM, SAP software will present Contact Management, Small Business Accounting, and Content Management."    Pizza is served at 7 PM by Silicon Networks.

Exhibitors Wanted!
Are you hiring new employees? Be an exhibitor at the Whos Hiring Who Job Faire. There are fifty trade show booths at the Whos Hiring Who Job Faire. Each booth is 8 long, offers power, T1 wireless access, your logo is published in the program, and on the conference website. The exhibitor price is $250 for this event. There is limited space, so register early as an exhibitor.

The economic recovery will start with small business. It is Silicon Networks goal to help job seekers and employers network to come together. Peter Stanwyck, the Oakland Attorney, will be presenting a very timely and important presentation for job seekers: When Is An Employee A Contractor? Attend this free workshop to be sure you meet the test of a contractor if you are a contractor. Find out if you are a contractor instead of an employee!

Employers should attend this workshop to find out if they are in compliance. Many contractors are employees.

This job faire venue offers easy access for applicants: BART is a short ten walk from the Jack London Inn; Amtraks (www.amtrak.com) Jack London Station is two blocks south from the Hotel; San Francisco Ferry Service is two blocks North. There is ample free parking in Port of Oaklands Estuary Park, six blocks south of the conference center.
