New Training Program for Micro Entrepreneurs With A Twist
First Step Community Economic Training Academy is a non-profit organization located in Philadelphia sponsored by Resources For Human Development to prepare economically disadvantaged start-ups and existing businesses for growth. Classes consist of business skills, computer and cluster development. This program is the first headed up by a micro business owner.
(PRWEB) August 3, 2004 -- Both business start-ups and existing businesses will benefit from this program. The program teaches start-ups step-by-step training based on their skill level. While existing micro businesses will not only learn business skills, and computers, they will also learn the value of clusters. these business segment groups will be able to actually form and participate in a cluster.
First Step Community Economic Training Academy Program Director Alva Clemons states "as a professional trainer for more than 25 years and a micro business owner for 9 years, we need a program that not only teaches, but a program the participants can actually see sustainable growth. The only way this can happen sharing resources, labor and compete collectively."
