Sensa Networks Announces Sale of Healthcare Division

Sensa Networks, a Seattle-based Application Service Provider (ASP) that markets an online video-based training system for corporations, is seeking an immediate buyer of its healthcare division -- VisualRx Networks.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 4, 2004 --- VisualRx Networks originated in June 2000 and developed an online, video-based training system for the healthcare industry. Medical practices and clinics in ten states pay monthly subscription fees to use the system. Thousands of healthcare professionals use the system to meet strict, federally mandated guidelines for OSHA and HIPAA compliance training. All of the courses available on the VisualRx system were produced in-house.

Earlier this year, after being approached by a number of large, non-healthcare corporations to develop training systems to solve their training needs, the Companys management team and board decided to create a new division - Sensa Networks - to focus on corporate training solutions. VisualRx remained the business name for the healthcare division.

CJ Johnson, CEO and Founder of VisualRx Networks and Sensa Networks, explained the decision to sell VisualRx: While weve achieved a certain level of proficiency in the healthcare market, our true expertise is working with (and selling to) large corporations. Although we have more than fifty paying medical practices and healthcare clinics that love the system and continue to enjoy the services we provide, we need to focus on our strengths. By selling VisualRx to a company dedicated to the healthcare industry, we get the pleasure of seeing the company our initial hard work went into continue to grow and be successful, while using the proceeds to fuel our corporate training business."

The buyer of VisualRx will get the divisions fifty-plus customers located in ten states; a re-branded version of the training system; twenty-two video courses covering HIPAA, OSHA, Risk Management, and Practice Management; all of the downloadable documents and forms that healthcare organizations need to meet compliance requirements; and Sensa Networks will continue to provide the training system infrastructure including system upgrades.
