Explore the Ireland of yore from ancient castles and gorgeous vistas, while taking in the excitement of Ireland today with Singles Travel International from October 16-24, 2004. Join us as we discover the island of Ireland, lured by its ancient castles, gorgeous vistas and famous pubs. The tour includes Dublin, Waterford, Killarney, “The Ring of Kerry,” the Dingle Peninsula and the Cliffs of Moher. Overnight accommodations include a farewell stay and banquet at luxurious Dromoland Castle. Rates for Experience the Heart of Ireland start at $1,985* plus air fare. Singles may have their own accommodations for only $489 more.

Travel and Leisure Magazine noted in April 2004, Singles Travel International is “The choice for singles traveling worldwide.” “Our high quality tours have always attracted fun-loving individuals who love to travel,” said Tammy Weiler, president of Singles Travel International.

The tour of Ireland begins in historic and cosmopolitan Dublin. Famous sites to explore include Trinity College and the Book of Kells. Add an international flare to the trip with stops at a variety of boutiques and finish the day at a friendly Irish pub. Next it’s on to the oldest city in Ireland – Waterford. As the residents remind you, the crystal was named after the city! With a tradition dating back to 1783, Waterford Crystal Factory is the largest and one of the most respected glassworks in the world. Then it’s on to the ancient city of Kilkenny, often called Ireland’s finest medieval town. Of course just outside the city of Cork is the town of Blarney. Will you venture to its castle and kiss the Blarney stone?

Next the tour takes one of Ireland’s most scenic drives, the Ring of Kerry. It is part of the mystical Ireland that calls to visitors from around the world. Its spectacular beauty is without question - a landscape carved out of rock by the last Ice Age 10,000 years ago. Wind-swept cliffs, still lakes, lost valleys and rocky mountains blend in natural beauty. The Cliffs of Moher follows, rising sheer above the sea to nearly 700 feet and boast on of the most amazing views in Ireland. On a clear day, the Aran Islands are visible in Galway Bay, which is next on the tour. Then it’s on to the quaint old world village of Adare with its thatched roof cottages, and finally to the luxurious Dromoland Castle to explore dreamlike surroundings and enjoy a farewell stay and sumptuous banquet.
